FreeEed quick start

To run the program on Windows, Mac, Linux

1. Go to the Download section here, download the complete pack
2. Unzip
3. Run start_all.bat in Windows, start_all.sh in Mac or Linux

To run in VirtualBox or VMWare

1. Download the *.ova file
2. Import appliance in VirtualBox or open in VMWare Player
3. Run start_all.sh in the FreeEed folder

Process data

• We suggest to first run through the provided sample project, to verify the install
• Open the provided sample project
• Stage the data: Process -> Stage
• Process it locally: Process -> Process Locally

See the results

• Open the output folder: Review -> Open output folder
• Check the metadata.csv files, containing all processed documents and their metadata
• The native.zip, containing the original native files, text, and exceptions

Review

• Open “Review” from the Player

Process your data in the cloud

• Run on a cloud virtual machine
